Cahoon singing goals
The Tigers’ huge win over Charlton and the Redbacks’ relatively narrow victory over Donald has helped to turn around the percentage gap between the two top sides.

THE ROUND 13 clash between Sea Lake Nandaly and Wedderburn is set to decide top spot on the North Central ladder.
The Tigers’ huge win over Charlton and the Redbacks’ relatively narrow victory over Donald has helped to turn around the percentage gap between the two top sides.
A win for Sea Lake in two weeks’ time would likely see them climb over Wedderburn and go top of the table.
Charlton was kept goalless by the Tigers in a 185-point thumping at Sea Lake last Saturday.
Max Cahoon returned to form as spearhead with nine goals, while co-coach Boyd Bailey was best on the ground with his four goals and midfield dominance.
His coaching partner Wade Donnan did his chances of a hat-trick of Feeny medals no harm with his stellar onball efforts and three goals.
The match against the Navy Blues was an unequal contest from the start, with Sea Lake leading by 41 points at the first change and by 90 points at half-time.
Fifteen more goals would follow in the second half to just one behind as Charlton was overwhelmed by the tide of ball flowing into the Tigers’ forward line.
Sea Lake Nandaly’s only loss this season was against Wedderburn in round six at Donaldson Park, a 40-point defeat.
The Tigers travel to Donald on Saturday, with the Royals punching above their weight this season following a winless 2025.
