Come see school’s connections
Grade 4 student Jimmy said he couldn’t speak more highly of staff and couldn’t wait for others to see that next week.

NEW families are invited to see everything Navarre Primary School has to offer first hand at their Open Day next week.
If you’re new to the area or looking to move your kids to a school where they’ll trive under specialised care, the small school could be the one to see.
Principal Matt Smith said the staff prides itself on being a small but mighty team who help their students through anything and everything.
“Days like these are a chance for the community to see all our facilities in all its glory,” he said.
“You can tour the grounds and everyone is invited to come into the classrooms to see how our students and teachers interact and learn from each other. “The small school setting has a lot to offer.”
From 9am to 11am on Monday, the event will start with a presentation to take the crowd through the benefits of going to the school before a guided tour of the grounds.
There will then be a chance to speak to staff and students in a question and answer session over morning tea.
Grade 4 student Jimmy said he couldn’t speak more highly of staff and couldn’t wait for others to see that next week.
“I love our wonderful teachers because they’re always so helpful whenever we need them,” he said.
Mr Smith said if there was anyone who may not be able to make it on Monday, there would hopefully be more opportunities for tours of the school later in the year.
“We’re hoping for a few more mornings down the track,” he said.
“We’re more than happy to welcome anyone who may be interested in joining our great little community.
“There’s a lot you can get out of a small school.”
You can visit Navarre Primary School on Monday at 26-28 High Street, Navarre.
