Conditions for scoring on golf course
David Lanyon came out the winner on 19 points from Ernie Scilini on 18 points.
DRY, firm conditions made scoring better at Thursday morning golf, which was well attended by 12 players.

Saturday was a stroke round and the first round of the singles knockout with three matches played.
Robert Harvey took on Arnold Bond and won with a 6/5 score line.
Ernie Scilini used all his 12 shot handicap difference to defeat Trevor Baldock 3/1.
Bill Rodger and Trevor Stewart battled for the prestigious Logan Cup.
Rodger, the mayor of Burkes Flat over come Logan Easts Trevor Stewart 4/2.
In the stroke event, Trevor Baldock won A grade with an impressive 78/9/69 from Rob Batters 84/14/70.
The St Arnaud Physiotherapy best score of the day was in B grade with Tony Coloe using the dry conditions to his advantage with 85/19/66.
Runner-up was Ernie Scilini on 92/21/71.
Nearest the pins were Tony Coloe on the 6th, Ernie Scilini on the 8th and Arnold Bond collecting both the 10th and the Weirs sponsored 18th.

CONDITIONS were still dry but the day was perfect for a game golf last Wednesday.
Winner for the day was new player Chris Goode with 38 stableford points.
This is bound to be the first of many as Chris shows she is keen to improve.
