Disruptions on Maryborough train line in April/May
THERE will be disruptions for V/Line train services on sections of the Maryborough line over the next month, for works related to the Murray Basin Rail Project.
THERE will be disruptions for V/Line train services on sections of the Maryborough line over the next month, for works related to the Murray Basin Rail Project.
Replacement coaches will be a mix of Express and Stopping All Stations services, and coaches will depart some stations earlier than the usual train times.
Coaches replace trains:
between Ballarat and Maryborough from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 9
between Southern Cross and Maryborough on Sunday, May 10
between Bacchus March and Maryborough from Monday, May 11 to Wednesday, May 13
between Ballarat and Maryborough from Thursday, May 14 to Thursday, May 21

Impacts on the Ballarat and Ararat lines
Coaches replace trains:
between Southern Cross, Ballarat and Ararat on Sunday, May 10
between Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat and Ararat from Monday, May 11 to Wednesday, May 13
During this time, crews will work on upgrades to the freight network that connects to the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines.
This includes the installation, testing and commissioning of new signalling systems, in addition to track and civil works, and driver training to prepare the upgraded network for operation.
