Getting Lowe down on book
Forty-three people attended the ‘In Conversation’ sessions across both branches, which received glowing reviews.
BESTSELLING Australian author Fiona Lowe discussed her inspiration and writing process during author talks at St Arnaud and Stawell libraries last week.
Ms Lowe is a recipient of the prestigious USA RITA award and the Australian RuBY award for romance writing.
Her novels are often set in small country towns, exploring real-life issues – family dramas, mysteries, and secrets tangled with lies and moral dilemmas.
Her latest release is a novel called ‘The Drowning’.

St Arnaud Theatre Company director Tobias Sherson ably led the St Arnaud event.
An engaging speaker, Lowe shared her thoughts on her writing process and the extensive research undertaken for her latest novel The Drowning.
Lowe’s visit was one of several successful author events at Northern Grampians Libraries and staff are organising another for later this year.
