Jackson’s set tone for dominant tennis win
Kara Kara regained control in the mixed, with Will Jackson and Aimee Jones and Thomas Watts and Kim Nevill leading the way.
KARA Kara delivered a strong all-round performance to defeat Nullawil 120 to 79.
The men’s set the tone early, with Will Jackson and Luke Jackson combining effectively, while Thomas Watts and Bruce Hando also impressed in their matches.
Kara Kara’s depth across the men’s proved difficult for Nullawil to contain.
To their credit, Nullawil’s ladies were outstanding, winning their section 48 to 24. Melissa Gilchrist and Gemma Fawcett formed a strong pairing, while Jessie Fawcett and Tessa Sheahan also played with great consistency. It was a clear highlight for the side.

Their ability to convert games ensured they maintained their advantage through to the end.
For Nullawil, David Watts and Daniel Watts worked hard throughout the day, while Simone Fawcett contributed across multiple matches.
The Grand Final will take place on Saturday in St Arnaud, where both local teams will go head-to-head.
