More police in Donald as investigation continues
Police will be continuing their search over the next few days, but residents are assured this is not a sign of risk to the community.

POLICE have confirmed searches in Donald are taking place over the next few days as the investigation into a local teen continues.
Residents have been told there will be an increase in police presence in the area as detectives gather more information.
At a community meeting in Donald last week, police assured people that an increase in police did not mean there was a risk to the community, it was more to ensure public comfort and support.
Remains were found near the Richardson River on July 9, which were that of 13-year-old Layla Jeffery. The teen was reported missing on July 5.
On July 11, a 16-year-old boy from the Swan Hill area was charged with murder.
Police have said because the matter is still before the court, they are unable to release any more information on the investigation.
