Players going for good golf day
Trevor McDonald performed the best with 21 points ahead of the multitasking Rob Batters one shot behind him.
ON Thursday morning, 11 golfers enjoyed some warm dry conditions to record some pretty good scores.

Rob filled the role as interpreter for his visitor, Pete the Scotsman, as well as playing good golf.
After the Anzac Day ceremonies, 18 golfers returned some more low scores in the warm dry conditions.
A grade winner was one of the senior players, John Nevill, with 40 points, which equates to having less hits than his age.
Tadger Jenny Lanyon showed everyone who the better golfer in the Lanyon house was by being runner up with 38 points, which was one shot ahead of Bill Rodger on 37.
B grade winner with a mighty score of 43 points was Robert Harvey, which will see an appointment with the handicapper.
Always consistent at this time of the year was Ernie Scilini on 41 points, who was one shot ahead of Mark McGrath on 40.
Nearest the pins winners were Arnold Bond on the 6th, Robert Harvey on the 10th and Jenny Lanyon on the 8th and the 18th.
With no rain forecast, the golfers can look forward to more low scores next week and give the handicapper more work to do.
THE St Arnaud lady golfers played for the monthly medal on a course in need of rain.
This little competion was played over two days during two seperate weeks: Saturday, April 12 and Wednesday April 22.
Marilyn Knights with a 73 nett won on the Saturday, and the monthly medal.
This was taken from Alison Fahey who ended up with a score of 76 nett.
In the Wednesday competition, Bernice Fithall was the winner with 75 nett over Glenda O’Neill with 76 nett.
Nearest pin winner on the 8th was Jenny Lanyon.
Next Wednesday, we will see our golfers take to the course for a friendly competition at Stableford.
