POLICE BEAT: Driver flees scene after causing crash
Police attended shortly after the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Gray Street and Dundas Street, at around 9.10am on Monday.

POLICE expect to charge a 30-year-old man of no fixed address following a collision in St Arnaud last week.
Police attended shortly after the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Gray Street and Dundas Street, at around 9.10am on Monday.
Police allege the man, who was driving with a suspended licence, was travelling west along Gray Street when he failed to give way and collided with another vehicle on Dundas Street.
It is alleged the man then exited his vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
He was later identified through CCTV from a nearby property.
The man is expected to be charged with several offences, including drive whilst authorisation suspended, fail to give way and careless driving. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Be aware of fake money
POLICE have interviewed and charged a 22-year-old St Arnaud man in relation to alleged use of counterfeit currency.
It is alleged the man attempted to use counterfeit money to make a purchase at a local business on Friday, May 29.
Police remind the community that using counterfeit currency is a serious offence. Anyone attempting to pass counterfeit notes can expect to be detected and brought before the courts.
Petrol drive-off
POLICE have identified a 30-year-old woman allegedly involved in a petrol drive-off at a St Arnaud fuel outlet.
It is alleged that at approximately 5pm last Saturday, the woman exited her vehicle, filled it with fuel and left the premises without making payment.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
Cannabis possession
A 49-year-old St Arnaud man was interviewed and is expected to face court after allegedly being found in possession of a small quantity of cannabis over the weekend.
Police remind the community that cannabis is an illegal substance unless it has been lawfully prescribed by a medical practitioner.
No helmet, no ride
AN 18-year-old St Arnaud man was issued with a penalty notice after being detected riding a bicycle without wearing a securely fitted, approved helmet.
Police intercepted the rider on Jones Street, St Arnaud, on Sunday.
The man was issued with a $254 penalty notice.
