The Community Men’s Shed St Arnaud Inc. has the solution - why not join them?
President Greg Fullarton said the group was looking for new faces and fresh ideas.
“Perhaps we will even have some future leaders and spokespeople for the group,” he said.
“We currently have 18 members, though many are affiliate members who drop in occasionally.
“On any given day we’ll have between two and six blokes working away in the shed.”
Mr Fullarton said the Men’s Shed was a great place to forge new relationships.
“There’s a great atmosphere when we’re all together,” he said.
“We form friendships, support one another and work on projects for the community or just ourselves.
“You don’t have to be mechanically minded or particularly skilled, just come in and see what we’re about.”
The men meet each week behind Neighbourhood House on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8.30am and 3.30pm.
