Start stars with 10 blue ribbons
Heidi Start delivered one of the standout performances of the meet, contesting an incredible 11 events for 10 firsts and a second.

ST Arnaud Piranhas had a brilliant day in the pool at Ararat on Saturday, returning home with a swag of medals.

Riley Burke had a perfect meet, contesting four events for four 1st placings.
The Piranhas finished the day with an outstanding 28 gold, 12 silver and seven bronze medals.
Leanne Burke swam four events, for two firsts and a second.
Declan Kay contested five events, finishing with two firsts and three seconds while
Leo Kay swam four events for a first and a third.
Brothers Austin and Lewis Lowe impressed, with Austin going first in three of three events, while Lewis claimed one first and two seconds in his four events.
Lewis achieved personal bests in all races, highlighted by big time drops in the 100m breaststroke (-7.84) and 100m butterfly (-7.49).
Grace McNally competed in four events for two podium finishes - a first and a second - also posting PBs in the 50m backstroke (-8.31) and 50m freestyle (-5.11).
Jack McNally swam four events, recording two seconds and a third.
Stacey Taylor competed in three events, one first and two thirds, while Milla Taylor-Rogers swam six events for a second and two thirds, including a huge PB of –11.03 seconds in her 200m breaststroke.
The relays were also a highlight for the Piranhas -
Mixed 16&U Freestyle Relay – 1st, Mixed Open Freestyle Relay – 1st, Mixed 16&U Medley Relay – 1st, Mixed Open Medley Relay – 2nd.
Swimming action is back in St Arnaud on Saturday.
