Young saints come marching in
Due to a lack of numbers for Calder United, Charlie Baldwin, Duncan Kirk and Jesse James crossed over to play for Calder in the first half in an effort to even up the sides.

ST Arnaud came out firing in the first quarter of Under 17s, dominating early stoppages and playing fast, open football.
Their ability to run and move the ball quickly by hand and foot proved too much for Calder United, as St Arnaud piled on seven goals to Calder’s scoreless opening term, setting the tone for the match.
Due to a lack of numbers for Calder United, Charlie Baldwin, Duncan Kirk and Jesse James crossed over to play for Calder in the first half in an effort to even up the sides.
The second quarter followed a similar pattern, with St Arnaud continuing to control possession. While inaccurate kicking prevented the margin from blowing out further, their dominance against an undermanned Calder outfit was clear.
The final quarter mirrored much of the previous three, with St Arnaud’s midfield consistently providing opportunities for their forwards. Despite Calder finally breaking through for a goal, St Arnaud finished strongly to cap off a dominant team performance.
